Choose your course pathway

We offer two Hijama cupping therapy course options so you can learn in the way that suits you best:

Hijama Practitioner Course (Online + Practical)

This is our most complete pathway. You begin with self-paced online theory modules covering everything from the origins of Hijama to anatomy, hygiene, client screening and business essentials. Once your theory is complete, you attend a full-day in-person practical session in Sydney, where you will work under direct supervision, practise on real clients and complete your final assessment. You leave with your IPHM certificate, a professional starter kit and lifetime access to our graduate support group.

Online Hijama Course

Prefer to study entirely from home? Our online-only course covers the same core theory content and is also IPHM-accredited. It is a strong foundation for anyone looking to understand Hijama before committing to full practitioner training or for those who are not based in Sydney and cannot attend in person.

FAQs

Do I need any prior experience to enrol?

No prior experience is required. Our Hijama cupping therapy courses are built for beginners and structured so that anyone, regardless of background, can follow along with confidence. Many of our students come from allied health, but plenty have no clinical experience at all.

Is this course accredited?

Yes. Both our online and practical cupping therapy courses are accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), one of the most respected accreditation bodies in the complementary and holistic therapy industry.

IPHM accreditation means the course content, safety standards and training methods have been independently reviewed and approved against an internationally recognised benchmark. When you complete an IPHM-accredited course, you receive a certificate that is recognised by insurers, professional associations and clients worldwide, giving you the foundation to practise with credibility whether you are based in Australia or elsewhere.

Can I start practising after completing the course?

Yes. Once you have completed the cupping therapy course and received your certificate, you are qualified to begin practising. We also recommend familiarising yourself with any local regulations that may apply in your area before you start seeing clients.

Is this an online or in-person course?

We offer both. Our Online Hijama Course is fully self-paced and completed remotely. Our Certified Hijama Practitioner Course includes online theory modules followed by a full day of in-person practical training in Sydney.

What makes Alchemist Academy different?

We built Alchemist Academy because we saw too many practitioners finishing courses without the confidence or clarity to actually start seeing clients. Everything about how we teach (the course structure, the materials, the support system and the small intake sizes) is designed to close that gap.
